Your Substitute Angel {incomplete jam entry}
A downloadable game for Windows
Threatened by an untimely blizzard, Cilla's village is nearing a frosty demise. Can such a dysfunctional community work together to save themselves? Probably not. Can Cilla, a newlydead ghost, help them all resolve their problems in time? Or will Shade Village fall victim to the storm?
The Current State
In order to submit something by the jam's deadline, this is the build we've got. It's not much more than a demo of the core mechanics. If you want to beat it. You have to walk to the sign on the other side of the house and take the standardized ghost exam.
I feel the best part of this build are the 1-bit art assets made by the two fantastic artists, Andreas Brandão and Pixel Scorpion. For sure check them out.

Development Team
The initial build was made for Black and White Jam #⁷√∞ by a team of three:
- Scotty Rich ー Project Lead + Programmer + Writer + Musician
- Andreas Brandão ー Sprite Artist + Animator
- Pixel Scorpion ー Background + Environment Artist
Programming and music production will continue until the story is complete, but virtually all visual assets are complete. Thank you so much to these two incredible artists for pulling the heavy art load for this project. I owe you like.. 29 gratitudes. Y'all rock.
